The Keypointer
The Keypointer is first in a family of products incorporating Keytouch Technologies’ patented Directional Touch™ Micro Keypad. It is a computer input device that combines a “Micro Keypad” keyboard and a motion pointer into a single handheld controller. The Keypointer features a familiar QWERTY keyboard layout making it easy to learn and its tactile touch surface allows for eyes-free operation.
How it Works
To type, hold the Keypointer in one hand and brush touch targets with your thumb. Brush up, down, left or right on touchpad targets to type letters and numbers. Brush up, down or inward on edge targets to type special characters. The arrangement of the characters printed on the targets indicates brush direction.
Additional special characters are typed by sliding from one target to another.
Touch and hold the Keypointer below the targets to use the device as a pointer. Tap to click. Tap and hold to drag.
That’s all there is to it!
